MORE ABOUT THE CYBER-PARENTS PROJECT

The internet is changing the way we live our lives. One neglected aspect of this change is how using the internet is altering current parenting practices. A project which examines how, why and in what ways the internet is used as an information source for learning parenting skills is therefore important for the social well-being of society. This research project will focus on babyworld to examine the role of the internet in providing support, breaking down isolation and acting as an information source for parents.
