Demographic Maps
A number of demographic patterns and dynamics have been
analysed over the course of the project in an effort to capture processes
at work across the Russian state. These factors have included patterns
of population growth/decline, migration, mortality, fertility, morbidity,
age structures/dependency ratio and so on. For a full discussion of the
consequences of demographic changes, in particular from a security perspective,
please see the working paper The
Regional Consequences of Russia's Demographic Crisis.
